Jan 27, 2010 - Things like this are horrible in my opinion mostly because of the innocent people involved, and the rescue workers and what they have to see and take in. That obviously doesn't only apply to texting, but to all car accidents. I think this is a good video. I didn't need it myself, I leave my phone and other distractions be whilst driving, but hopefully it can open some eyes. Sadly I think that however high the effect the video has when viewed, people forget it when driving and their phone beeps

Having said that I'm all for these adds, sure they might be disturbing but sometimes we have to learn the hard way, if it saves lives it's worth it. I signalled, started to pull into the middle lane and a gal, who didn't signal for a moment, just started pulling over. If I hadn't been paying attention, she would have plowed into me. Need I mention that all of her attention was on the cell phone that she had glued to her face. I don't think that she ever knew that she was close to having an accident.
