Feb 28, 2010 - I agree. I travelled by Shinkansen, KTX, ICE and TGV. The Shinkansen train is by far the best: seats, design, comfort, noise...you name it. The Korean KTX is a good second, followed by the German ICE. I was disappointed in the French TGV: poor, uncomfortable seats, hardly any legspace and dark.
